This year we are proud to present extended program to our event for the people who would like to stay longer and see more of China!

Monday, April 13th

Chinese Actobat Show - Some of the most amazing feats of human physicality, and a treat that you don't want to miss.  Plus, you might get ideas for new show aerials.
Dance party at CD Jazz Cafe - Our regular and biggest swing event in Beijing.

Tuesday, April 14th

Temple of Heaven - A marvel of Chinese Imperial design, this largest temple in Beijing was visited by the Emperor just once a year.
Hong Qiao pearl market - Shopping heaven! The best place to get pearls and other chinese souvenirs.
Dinner at a Manchurian restaurant - A taste of the Qing dynasty, the Manchus were the last Imperial dynasty in China.

Wednesday, April 15th

Summer Palace - Built by the Empress Dowager Cixi in what might have been the most disastrous misuse of military funding in history, the Summer Palace is still one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
Dinner at Buddhist restaurant "Pure Lotus" - A Buddhist meal with exquisite service and presentation.

Tianjin City Tour - Tour the historical sights of Tianjin, a city with a long history of foreign and Chinese intermixing with various results.

Beijing Extended Program (April 13-15) - 115 USD
Beijing + Tianjing Extended Program (April 13-19) - 250 USD

You can also join just the Tianjin program - 135 USD or 1000 RMB

Please note that we cannot guarantee hosting for the duration of the extended program. If you are signing up for this, then we will assign your hosts ASAP, but please work out with them if it is ok to stay beyond the main event weekend. We will do our best to secure hosts that are willing to host for the whole week, and you will have priority with them, but be aware that it might just not work out. If that is the case, we will do our best to help you find alternate housing.

Visa

If you are not a Chinese citizen in order to go to China you will need to obtain a visa.
Please apply for a Tourist Visa (Category L, valid 30 days). Be aware that there is a limited time on the entry corridor on Chinese visas, please check with your local consulate.
