If you are not a Chinese citizen in order to go to China you will need to obtain a visa.
Please apply for a Tourist Visa (Category L, valid 30 days). Be aware that there is a limited time on the entry corridor on Chinese visas, please check with your local consulate.

If you have a day or two extra to spend before, or after the exchange, you may want to visit a few of the other great sites in Beijing. Below you can see the list of some of our favorite places.

Temple of Heaven (天坛, Tiāntán)

The Temple of Heaven is a worthwhile visiting place in Beijing.  The Temple was built in 1420 A.D. during the Ming Dynasty and hosted annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

Summer Palace (颐和园, Yíhé Yuán)

Situated in the western outskirts of Haidian District, the Summer Palace is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from central Beijing. Having the largest royal park and being well preserved, it was designated in 1960 by the State Council as a Key Cultural Relics Protection Site of China.  At the palace, one can find graceful landscapes, a variety of palaces, and classical-style Chinese architecture.

Chinese Acrobatic Show

Chinese acrobatics has a long history and is one of the most popular art forms among Chinese people.  Performers have achieved worldwide fame for their wonderful skills and marvelous acts. Acrobatic Shows can be seen at the Chaoyang Theater.
